I am also a business mum, though new .. ish.. 3 months this week in a business i started. its called" La Toriana" and its a passion that encompasses my 3 girls

Well, the good news is, the new business I set up with my friend is now running (somewhat) smoothly - so I should have some time in the next few weeks to do all the things on here that I haven't had a chance to do yet! Good to see that we're still getting new members :> If any of you have any ideas or suggestions for the site, please let me know. :-)

It was all a bit of a strange thing really - my friend Shaz & I went on a holiday (without hubby & kids yay!) and while we were away we discussed doing "something". At the time she was running a natural hair/skincare products website business and I was doing websites, and she has 3 kids and I have 2, so it's not like we didn't have enough to do already! Anyway, we got back and it was one of those karma things, a lady I knew rang and said she was selling her kids clothing business and was having a big final sale the following month. So I asked what she was doing with all her stock... and before we knew it, we'd bought her stock, my hubby had set up the business name and I did the website and we were off and running! The lady didn't really have a website but that's my "thing" so now we're all set up doing mainly website, but also party plan and once-every-2-month sales in halls that we book out. I can't tell you the name because then I'd be breaking my own "no advertising in the forums" rule!!! But it starts with "K" and if you check out the Business Directory, there's a listing in there under Children's Clothing. :-)

I've got pages of notes so in the next few weeks I"m hoping to start publishing them in a blog, because it's certainly been an interesting experience!
